You just made a good call. Here is a quick word from me on what happens next, and how we get you fully set up over the next couple of weeks.

The short version: you don't set this up, we do. Your onboarding has two halves. First, we build your instance for you, your tiers, your households, your service calendar. Then we dial in your whole operation together, through a mix of private sessions and live group trainings. Everything you need is in these pages. Start here and click through.

Kickoff call

We meet, and together we export your households from your CRM and import them into CanyonOps, live. Then we configure your service model by walking through how you actually serve your clients, how often you meet, and which services you run, against our full task library.

The days after

We build it

We finish standing up your tiers, a full year of your service calendar, and your triggers. When you sit down, it is ready to use, not ready to set up. We send you a short walkthrough of your own instance.

Week one to two

Go-Live and team training

We hand you the keys and train your whole team, not just you. You leave the call running your next real meeting through CanyonOps.

Across your first weeks

Your training sessions

Two private one-on-ones with Jake on the parts specific to your firm, your service tiers and your growth, plus two live group cohorts with other firms on onboarding and service process and on your tech stack and Claude. This is the consulting half, and it is where a lot of the value lives.

Come to Kickoff ready

Have your CRM login handy so we can screen-share and export your households together on the call. All we need is each person's name, the household name, their dates of birth, and which segment each household is in. Everything else stays in your systems. You can also export it ahead of time in the intake step.

  1. In Wealthbox, go to Contacts and click Export in the top-right.
  2. Select All Contacts, choose CSV, and click Export.
  3. When the download finishes (wealthbox-contacts-export.csv), upload it below.

  2. Select the contacts you want and export them in bulk as a CSV.
  3. Save the file, then upload it below.

The four things you'll do most

See what's owed

Open a household's service calendar to see what's done and what's still owed this year. Work from the calendar, not your memory.

Run a meeting on living notes

Before a meeting, open the client's living notes. During and after, add to them. The notes carry forward year to year, so nothing lives only in your head. This is the gold.

Hand off work

Assign a task or a whole project to a team member, attach instructions or a Loom, and it runs without you. Your team operates without it living in your head.

Prove it

Pull the evidence pack in one click when you need the trail. The same system that runs your service proves you delivered it.

Where you operate day to day

Sort your whole book by status in the cross-household view. Every spring meeting not yet done, or everyone who still has an RMD, on one screen. When you add a new household, set the tier and a full year of service builds itself.

Two rules of thumb

If it only lives in your head, it isn't a system yet, so put it in the notes. And open it every day. The habit is the whole point.

Does this replace my CRM?
No. CanyonOps is additive. You keep your CRM, your planning tool, and your custodian. It sits on top of the tools you already use and handles the layer between the plan and the proof.
How long until we're up and running?
Kickoff is this week, and most firms are running within a week or two. Because we do the setup for you, the time it costs you is small.
What client data do you actually need?
Four things: each person's name, the household name, their dates of birth, and which segment each household is in. That's it. We keep the data we hold to a minimum on purpose, so everything else stays in your CRM and your planning tools.
Who on my team should be involved?
Everyone who will use it day to day, not just you. Bring your operators to the Go-Live call so they're trained from the start. The whole point is that your service doesn't live only in your head.
What is the guarantee, exactly?
Sixty days, love it or leave it. Use it, let us get you fully set up, and if you don't love it we refund every dollar. There's no trial to babysit and nothing changes in your other systems.
